pub struct SqlFilter<'a> {
pub predicate: &'a str,
pub binds: &'a [&'a str],
}Expand description
Row filter for search_where on PgVectorIndex and PgSparseVectorIndex:
a SQL boolean expression evaluated per candidate row, so the allowed set never
leaves the database. Prefer it to search_filtered when the allowed IDs are
many: an allowlist is fetched client-side and bound as one array per query.
predicate is interpolated verbatim, so it must be trusted SQL written by
the caller, never user input. It sees the vector row as v (v.id,
v.vec) and the text values of binds as $3, $4, … ($1 is the query
vector, $2 the limit). Example: EXISTS (SELECT 1 FROM chunks c WHERE c.id = v.id AND c.category = $3) with binds: &["statute"].
Fields§
§predicate: &'a strTrusted SQL boolean expression over the vector row v.
binds: &'a [&'a str]Text values bound as $3, $4, … in predicate.
