Struct Newline

Source
pub struct Newline {
    pub offset: usize,
    pub ty: LineEnding,
}
Expand description

Represents a newline location and style

Fields§

§offset: usize§ty: LineEnding

Implementations§

Source§

impl Newline

Source

pub fn offset(&self) -> usize

Source

pub fn next_line_start(&self) -> usize

Source

pub fn is_crlf(&self) -> bool

Source

pub fn next(buffer: &[u8]) -> Self

Find the next Newline from the start of buffer

Source

pub fn next_from(buffer: &[u8], offset: usize) -> Self

Find the Newline from offset in buffer

If there are no more newlines, the newline index will be equal to buffer.len(), i.e. end of file.

Source

pub fn prev(buffer: &[u8]) -> Self

Find the last Newline in buffer

Source

pub fn prev_from(buffer: &[u8], offset: usize) -> Self

Find the last Newline in buffer, searching backwards from offset.

If there are no newlines, the newline offset returned will be zero, i.e. beginning of file. Same if the buffer is empty.
