CompleteColor

Struct CompleteColor

pub struct CompleteColor {
    pub TrueColor: String,
    pub ANSI256: String,
    pub ANSI: String,
}
Expand description

Specifies exact color values for all terminal color profiles.

This color type provides explicit control over how a color appears in different terminal environments by specifying exact values for each color profile type. This is useful when you need precise color matching across different terminal capabilities.

Unlike other color types that perform automatic conversion, CompleteColor uses the exact values you specify for each profile, giving you full control over the color appearance.

§Examples

use lipgloss::color::{CompleteColor, TerminalColor};
use lipgloss::renderer::{Renderer, ColorProfileKind};

let red = CompleteColor {
    TrueColor: "#FF0000".to_string(), // Hex for true color terminals
    ANSI256: "196".to_string(),           // Index for 256-color terminals
    ANSI: "9".to_string(), // Index for basic ANSI terminals
};

// Different renderers will use different values
let mut true_color_renderer = Renderer::new();
true_color_renderer.set_color_profile(ColorProfileKind::TrueColor);
assert_eq!(red.token(&true_color_renderer), "#FF0000");

let mut ansi_renderer = Renderer::new();
ansi_renderer.set_color_profile(ColorProfileKind::ANSI);
assert_eq!(red.token(&ansi_renderer), "9");

Fields§

§TrueColor: String
