RoutedBatchEntry

Enum RoutedBatchEntry

Source
pub enum RoutedBatchEntry {
    Put(RoutedBatchItem),
    Delete {
        key: Vec<u8>,
        expected: Hash,
    },
}
Expand description

One change in an atomic routed batch of puts and deletes (DUR-028 R3).

A delete names the value it retires by its logical hash, so a key that is absent or holds another value refuses the whole batch: the commit that replaces a checkpoint body removes exactly the body it read.

Variants§

§

Put(RoutedBatchItem)

A conditional replacement, exactly as in DurableStore::apply_routed_batch.

§

Delete

Removal of key, whose current value hashes to expected.

Fields

§key: Vec<u8>

The key on the route, as the puts beside it are keyed.

§expected: Hash

The logical hash of the value being removed (haematite::tree::Hash::of its bytes).

Implementations§

Source§

impl Debug for RoutedBatchEntry

A delete prints its key as the text every route key is, not as the byte list a derived Debug would print, beside the hash it guards on.
