Expand description

Every counter a CountingStore keeps, read at one moment.

Counters only grow, so the work between two snapshots is StoreCounts::since of the later over the earlier.

Implementations§

Source§

impl StoreCounts

Source

pub const fn since(&self, earlier: &Self) -> Self

The work counted after earlier was taken.

earlier must be a snapshot of the same store taken before self. Counters never decrease, so each difference is the work between the two; a counter that reads lower in self answers zero rather than wrapping.

Source

pub const fn plus(&self, other: &Self) -> Self

The sum of two sets of counts, for work spread over two stores.

Source

pub const fn named(&self) -> [(&'static str, u64); 22]

Every counter with its name, in the one fixed order fmt::Display prints them in.
