Expand description

Deterministic participant codec failure.

Variants§

§

NotParticipantFrame

The generic outer type is not assigned to participant traffic.

Fields

§frame_type: u8

Observed generic frame type.

§

Decode

A structural body or framing failure with the canonical decode class.

Fields

§class: DecodeClass

Exact failure class.

§

UnsupportedVersion

The concrete participant version differs from v1.0.

Fields

§presented: ProtocolVersion

Version read from the structural prefix.

§supported: ProtocolVersion

Version supported by this codec.

§

OutputTooSmall

Caller-provided encoding storage is too short.

Fields

§required: usize

Complete bytes required.

§available: usize

Bytes supplied by the caller.

§

LengthOverflow

A body or complete frame cannot fit its canonical u32 length field.

§

InvalidValue

A typed value violates a field-domain invariant.

§

InvalidFrameLimit

A negotiated complete-frame limit lies outside 16..=FRAME_MAX.

Fields

§max_frame_bytes: u64

Rejected complete-frame limit.
