Server

Struct Server

Source
pub struct Server<R> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The ticket’s server: one rail, one session and its service subscriptions.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<R: Rail> Server<R>

Source

pub fn serve<I: BufRead, O: Write + Send>( &mut self, input: &mut I, output: &mut O, ) -> Result<()>

Serves requests while tap readers send unsolicited logging lines. EOF signals and joins every receiver before this returns.

§Errors

Returns the input, output, framing or subscription-teardown failure.

Source§

impl<R: Rail> Server<R>

Source

pub fn new(rail: R, frame_bytes: usize) -> Self

A server over rail, reading lines of at most frame_bytes.

Source

pub fn configured(rail: R, config: &Config) -> Result<Self, String>

A ticket on the validated seat, with initial listens opened by serve. No socket or pass request occurs in this constructor.

§Errors

Returns a named pass-source or listen-configuration refusal.

Source

pub fn listen_counts(&self) -> Result<(usize, usize), String>

Active channel subjects and all ticket channel threads, respectively. Each subject owns two streams, a tap reader and a join worker.

§Errors

Returns a poisoned listen-state lock.

Source

pub const fn rail(&self) -> &R

The rail behind the tools.

Source

pub fn answer( &mut self, id: &Value, method: &str, params: &Map<String, Value>, ) -> Value

One request’s answer.

Source

pub fn tool( &self, name: &str, arguments: &Map<String, Value>, ) -> Result<ToolResult, Refusal>

One tool’s outcome; an unknown tool is method-not-found.

§Errors

Returns the method-not-found or invalid-params refusal.
