NodeDescriptor

Struct NodeDescriptor

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct NodeDescriptor { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A node descriptor: topology and policy metadata, without an executable instance.

NodeDescriptor captures static configuration of a node in the graph: its identity, kind, port counts, policy, and an optional name. It does not hold runtime state or implementation details.

Implementations§

Source§

impl NodeDescriptor

Source

pub fn new( id: NodeIndex, kind: NodeKind, in_ports: u16, out_ports: u16, name: Option<&'static str>, ) -> Self

Construct a new NodeDescriptor.

Source

pub fn id(&self) -> &NodeIndex

Unique identifier of this node in the graph.

Source

pub fn kind(&self) -> &NodeKind

High-level category of the node (source, process, sink, etc).

Source

pub fn in_ports(&self) -> &u16

Number of input ports declared by this node.

Source

pub fn out_ports(&self) -> &u16

Number of output ports declared by this node.

Source

pub fn name(&self) -> Option<&'static str>

Optional static name (for diagnostics or graph tooling).
