#[non_exhaustive]pub enum BchError {
InvalidOrder(usize),
OutsideConvergenceRadius,
LogFailed,
}Expand description
Error type for safe BCH operations.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
InvalidOrder(usize)
BCH order must be 2-5
OutsideConvergenceRadius
Inputs exceed the strict convergence radius log(2) ≈ 0.693.
The truncated BCH series produces incorrect results outside the
convergence radius. Use bch_safe for automatic fallback to
direct composition, or check with bch_will_converge first.
LogFailed
log() failed (e.g., result at cut locus)
