Expand description

xmlParserInputState (include/libxml/parser.h) — the parser’s current input state. ctxt->instate is an ABI-visible field: foreign consumers compiled against the real libxml2 headers (PHP ext/xml’s expat-compat compat.c tests instate == XML_PARSER_CONTENT while resolving entity references) compare against THESE exact values, so the numbering must mirror the 2.15 header verbatim (SP-14.3.1-4, bug71592). Note that XML_PARSER_ENTITY_REF was removed in 2.15 and XML_PARSER_END_TAG / XML_PARSER_ENTITY_DECL etc. sit between CDATA_SECTION and ENTITY_VALUE.
