FseScanner

Struct FseScanner

Source
pub struct FseScanner<'m> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The hot-loop scanner.

Design goal:

  • no per-match allocation
  • execute opcode immediately
  • fail closed on Reject

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'m> FseScanner<'m>

Source

pub fn new(map: &'m FseMap) -> Result<Self, ScanError>

Source

pub fn reset_rule_state(&mut self)

Reset rule tracking (Record bits/counters). DFA state remains as-is.

Source

pub fn reset_automaton_state(&mut self) -> Result<(), ScanError>

Reset DFA walker to start state (unanchored).

Source

pub fn scan(&mut self, input: &[u8]) -> Result<ScanSummary, Violation>

Scan a byte slice.

CRITICAL properties:

  • no heap allocation per match
  • no Match objects
  • immediate opcode execution
