SimulatorFault

Enum SimulatorFault

Source
pub enum SimulatorFault {
    Timeout,
    Cancellation,
    DroppedConnection,
    CleanupFailure,
    ResourceUnavailable,
}
Expand description

A bounded failure condition that a test may inject at an explicit boundary.

The receiving Adapter or Plugin test support decides how to project this condition into its domain. The simulator does not invent transport, storage, or cleanup behavior on its behalf.

Variants§

§

Timeout

The operation’s configured deadline elapsed.

§

Cancellation

The caller or generation requested cooperative cancellation.

§

DroppedConnection

The peer disconnected before it observed a response.

§

CleanupFailure

Generation-owned cleanup reported a failure.

§

ResourceUnavailable

A required private resource could not be acquired.
