pub struct BaselineConfig {
pub reference_model: Option<String>,
pub local_shadow_rate_per_mtok: Option<f64>,
}Expand description
[proxy.baseline] — the contract-frozen counterfactual parameters that make
the success fee provable (enterprise#15, Doc 04 §6 / Doc 08 §2).
reference_model: the model the customer would have used without lean-ctx. Frozen per deployment/contract (calibration: enterprise#41); every usage event storesreference_cost_usd= the request’s uncompressed input tokens priced at this model’s input rate — the counterfactual cost the avoided-cost ledger settles against.local_shadow_rate_per_mtok: USD per 1M tokens booked as the actual cost of locally served (loopback) inference. Local compute is never free — hardware and power are real — so the shadow rate keeps local-model savings honest instead of infinite. Default:0.25USD/MTok, a conservative self-hosting cost estimate; calibrate per deployment.
Fields§
§reference_model: Option<String>Counterfactual reference model (None = baseline evidence off).
local_shadow_rate_per_mtok: Option<f64>USD per 1M tokens for local/loopback inference (default 0.25, never 0).
