LDPC decoder arithmetic with $f
and the following approximation to
the min* function:
min*(x,y) approx = sign(xy) * [min(|x|,|y|) - log(1 + exp(-||x|-|y||))].
This is a DecoderArithmetic
that uses $f
to represent the LLRs
and messages and computes the check node messages using an approximation
to the min* rule.
See (35) in [1].
