Expand description

Unified error type that aggregates all LLM provider errors.

This allows using ? across provider boundaries without manually mapping error types. Each variant wraps the original provider error, preserving full context.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Anthropic(AnthropicError)

Anthropic API error.

§

Gemini(GeminiError)

Gemini API error.

§

Azure(AzureOpenAIError)

Mistral API error (OpenAI-compatible endpoint).

§

OpenAICompatible

B5: any OpenAI-compatible endpoint reached through the generic client (Groq, OpenRouter, xAI, vLLM, LM Studio, private gateways, …). The provider label identifies which preset or custom endpoint failed.

Fields

§provider: String

Endpoint label ("groq", "openrouter", "xai", "openai-compatible").

§source: OpenAIError

Underlying OpenAI-protocol error.

§

Config(String)

Configuration error (missing/malformed environment variables, etc.).

§

Testkit(String)

Testkit harness error (recording/replay failures from lc-testkit).
