SaveCx

Struct SaveCx

Source
pub struct SaveCx<'c> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The open transaction a save runs in, shared by the listeners and the persister so a read sees the in-flight write.

Holding a transaction across listener code keeps the write consistent, at the cost of keeping it open: a listener should do its own work and return, not call out to a slow service.

Fields are private and read through accessors, so this can gain context after 1.0. new cannot: extra context arrives as a with_* builder instead.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'c> SaveCx<'c>

Source

pub fn new( backend: DbBackend, conn: &'c mut AnyConnection, actor: Actor, ) -> Self

Source

pub fn backend(&self) -> DbBackend

Which database this is, for the portable query helpers.

Source

pub fn conn(&mut self) -> &mut AnyConnection

The transaction’s connection. Every read and write in a save goes here.

Source

pub fn actor(&self) -> &Actor

Who is performing this write.
