Expand description

One page of a filtered read.

records is a standard polled-messages body: its head names the partition, the head offset, the record count and the partition context the page was served under, and the matching records keep their original offsets, ids, timestamps, headers, and payload bytes. next_scan_offset is the first record the server has not examined, None when nothing was examined and the start selector must be sent again. safe_ack_offset is the last examined offset. The reader may store it, with ack_context, only after every returned record at or below it is fully handled.

Fields§

§v: u32§partition_id: u32§policy: AppliedPolicy§generation: SourceGeneration§ack_context: AckContext§next_scan_offset: Option<u64>§safe_ack_offset: Option<u64>§frontier: u64

The primary’s partition head when the page was read. Reported, never used as scan progress.

§examined: u32§matched: u32§stop: StopReason§fault: Option<RecordFault>§unevaluated: Vec<u64>

Offsets of returned records the filter could not evaluate (the pass fault policy).

§evaluation_limits: Option<Box<FilterDecodeLimits>>§records: Vec<u8>
