OrderedSharding

Struct OrderedSharding

Source
pub struct OrderedSharding;
Expand description

The Apache Iggy producer/consumer escape hatch: same types Topic::iggy_producer/Topic::iggy_consumer/Topic::iggy_consumer_group return, and the stored message a failed publish hands back, re-exported so reaching for them doesn’t need an iggy dependency of your own. A sharding strategy that preserves message ordering by routing all messages for the same stream/topic combination to the same shard.

This ensures that messages sent to the same destination are processed in the order they were dispatched, even when using multiple shards.
