Expand description

Scopes memory along the converging identity layers (user / agent / session / app) plus the physical stream, with a lifetime tier. Any field left unset widens recall to match across that dimension.

conversation is the session layer (a single run or thread). user and app are the broader identity layers: the end user the memory is about, and the application or org it belongs to within a deployment. They narrow recall on backends that store them (e.g. VectorMemory). The physical isolation boundary stays Iggy stream. (There is deliberately no account layer here: a deployment has one owner, and app is a scope within it.)

Fields§

§stream: Option<String>

Restrict to this stream (none = any). The physical isolation boundary.

§user: Option<String>

Restrict to this end user (none = any). The identity the memory is about.

§agent: Option<AgentId>

Restrict to this agent (none = any).

§conversation: Option<ConversationId>

Restrict to this conversation, the session layer (none = any).

§app: Option<String>

Restrict to this application or org within the deployment (none = any).

§lifetime: Lifetime

A write policy for custom backends. Built-in recall filters use the identity fields above. Session is the default. Log storage does not persist this field.

§origin: Option<SourceRef>

The session record that motivated a remembered item. Written with the item, never used to filter recall.

§producer: Option<ProducerInfo>

The component that produced a remembered item. Written with the item, never used to filter recall.
