pub enum EngineSource {
Lance {
uri: String,
storage_options: HashMap<String, String>,
dataset: Arc<Dataset>,
},
Arrow(RecordBatch),
}Expand description
One input dataset as registered with a CypherEngine.
Variants§
Lance
On-disk Lance dataset, read lazily through LanceTableProvider.
dataset is pinned to one version; only refresh() replaces it. uri and
storage_options are kept so refresh can reopen the same location with the
same credentials.
Arrow(RecordBatch)
In-memory Arrow data supplied by the caller. Treated as immutable: replacing it requires a new engine.
Implementations§
Source§impl EngineSource
impl EngineSource
Sourcepub async fn open_lance(
uri: impl Into<String>,
version: Option<u64>,
storage_options: HashMap<String, String>,
) -> Result<Self>
pub async fn open_lance( uri: impl Into<String>, version: Option<u64>, storage_options: HashMap<String, String>, ) -> Result<Self>
Open a Lance dataset at uri, pinned to version (None means the latest).
storage_options are kept so CypherEngine::refresh can reopen the same
location with the same credentials.
Sourcepub fn lance_version(&self) -> Option<u64>
pub fn lance_version(&self) -> Option<u64>
Pinned Lance version, or None for Arrow input.
