OwnedLvReader

Struct OwnedLvReader

Source
pub struct OwnedLvReader<T> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Lifetime-free, owning LV reader.

Construct via Lvm2::open_lv_owned_by_name or Lvm2::open_lv_owned_by_id. Implements embedded_io::Read + Seek.

The reader owns:

  • The PV-byte reader T
  • A pre-computed Vec<SegmentMap> of the LV’s segment table
  • The total LV byte length (for SeekFrom::End)

Implementations§

Source§

impl<T: Read + Seek> OwnedLvReader<T>

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> u64

Total LV size in bytes (sum of all segments’ byte spans).

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

True if self.len() == 0.

Source

pub fn into_inner(self) -> T

Underlying PV reader. Useful for tests and diagnostics; do not use to bypass the LV→PV mapping.
