pub struct PredicateSplitterRule { /* private fields */ }Expand description
DataFusion optimizer rule that splits predicates for lookup joins.
Runs TopDown to catch Filter nodes above LookupJoinNode first.
Two cases:
- Filter above LookupJoinNode — absorb the filter, classify each conjunct, and assign to pushdown or local.
- Direct LookupJoinNode — re-classify existing pushdown predicates (e.g., after a previous pass added them).
Implementations§
Source§impl PredicateSplitterRule
impl PredicateSplitterRule
Sourcepub fn new(capabilities: SourceCapabilitiesRegistry) -> Self
pub fn new(capabilities: SourceCapabilitiesRegistry) -> Self
Creates a new rule with the given capabilities registry.

fn rewrite( &self, plan: LogicalPlan, _config: &dyn OptimizerConfig, ) -> Result<Transformed<LogicalPlan>>
Try to rewrite
plan to an optimized form, returning Transformed::yes
if the plan was rewritten and Transformed::no if it was not.Source§fn supports_rewrite(&self) -> bool
fn supports_rewrite(&self) -> bool
👎Deprecated since 47.0.0:
This method is no longer used
Does this rule support rewriting owned plans (rather than by reference)?
