pub struct ServicePaths { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Conventional resource paths for one service identity under a per-user root.
This is a naming helper, not peer authentication or a directory-security API.
A Windows named pipe is not a file in this directory: name it with
local::pipe_name::for_current_user, which scopes it by this identity and
the user’s SID, and bind it with local::socket::acquire, which restricts
it to its owner, SYSTEM and Administrators.
Implementations§
Source§impl ServicePaths
impl ServicePaths
Sourcepub fn ownership_lock(&self) -> PathBuf
pub fn ownership_lock(&self) -> PathBuf
Persistent daemon ownership lock; never unlink it during replacement.
Sourcepub fn upgrade_lock(&self) -> PathBuf
pub fn upgrade_lock(&self) -> PathBuf
Persistent upgrade lock, distinct from daemon ownership.
Sourcepub fn control_socket(&self) -> PathBuf
pub fn control_socket(&self) -> PathBuf
Protobuf control endpoint for Unix-domain socket consumers. Fits a Unix
socket address: ServiceIdentity::paths checked it.
Sourcepub fn sockets(&self, names: &[SocketName]) -> Result<SocketDir>
pub fn sockets(&self, names: &[SocketName]) -> Result<SocketDir>
The service directory checked against the application’s own sockets,
together with CONTROL_SOCKET. Declare every socket the service binds
here, including the longest name it derives at runtime.
