Struct Env

Source
pub struct Env {
    pub refresh_hz: Option<f32>,
    pub focused: bool,
    pub system: SystemEnv,
    pub window: WindowEnv,
    pub audio: AudioEnv,
}
Expand description

What the host knows about the display/window. Defaults are safe for headless drivers (tests, benches) that never set anything.

Fields§

§refresh_hz: Option<f32>

Display refresh rate in Hz; None when the host can’t tell.

§focused: bool

Whether the window has keyboard focus.

§system: SystemEnv

What the OS is set to: appearance, accent, motion, locale — and whether assistive technology is listening.

§window: WindowEnv

Window chrome facts (custom chrome, maximized, native control rect).

§audio: AudioEnv

The output device’s state and how many playbacks are live.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Env

Source

pub const DEFAULT_HZ: f32 = 120.0

Budget fallback when the host doesn’t report a refresh rate.

Source

pub fn frame_budget_ms(&self) -> f32

Per-frame time budget in ms: one vsync interval at the display’s refresh rate (120 Hz when unreported).
