Available on crate feature validation only.

An error produced when a CEL validation rule fails.

#[non_exhaustive]: this is an output type the crate constructs, never the caller. New fields may be added without a breaking change; downstream code reads the public fields and the cause chain via std::error::Error::source.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

Human-readable error message.

field_path: String

JSON path to the field (e.g., “spec.replicas”).

reason: Option<String>

Machine-readable reason (e.g., “FieldValueInvalid”).
