A single CRD x-kubernetes-validations rule.

Fields

rule: String

The CEL expression to evaluate.

message: Option<String>

Static error message returned when validation fails.

message_expression: Option<String>

CEL expression that produces a dynamic error message.

reason: Option<String>

Machine-readable reason for the validation failure (e.g. “FieldValueForbidden”).

field_path: Option<String>

JSONPath to the field that caused the failure.

optional_old_self: Option<bool>

Whether oldSelf is optional. When true, transition rules are evaluated even on create (with oldSelf bound to null).
