The result of running a layout algorithm on a node.

Chrome equivalent: NGLayoutResult.

Contains the fragment (immutable output) plus metadata the parent needs. Caching is handled externally (by LayoutObject or Taffy’s Cache).

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

fragment: Arc<Fragment>

The computed fragment for this node.

intrinsic_sizes: Option<IntrinsicSizes>

Intrinsic inline sizes (min-content and max-content). Cached here because flex/grid algorithms query them. None = not yet computed.

escaped_margins: EscapedMargins

Margins that escaped from first/last child through this block. Used by the parent for proper parent-child margin collapsing. Zero for blocks that establish a BFC or have border/padding.
