pub enum Tier {
T1PostgresCatalog,
T2IcebergFieldIds,
T3TblProperties,
T4InclusionDependency,
}Expand description
Resolution tier — where a node/edge mapping’s authority came from, per the rel2graph spec. Recorded on every plan element and surfaced in the WARNINGS provenance block so a reviewer can see how confident each mapping is (T1 catalog fact ▸ T4 inference proposal).
Variants§
T1PostgresCatalog
T1 — the upstream Postgres catalog (PK/FK constraints). The answer for most schemas: Iceberg is the data plane, Postgres the schema plane.
T2IcebergFieldIds
T2 — Iceberg identifier-field-ids (the table’s declared identity).
T3TblProperties
T3 — knut.* TBLPROPERTIES on the table
(knut.node.label/knut.node.key/knut.edge.*). What a hand-authored
or reviewed MappingSpec encodes.
T4InclusionDependency
T4 — inclusion-dependency inference (the LEFT-ANTI-JOIN orphan test). Proposals only — emitted COMMENTED-OUT with evidence, never applied. A T4 element must never appear in the active plan.
