Variants

Standard

The standard versioning strategy for Go modules:

1. Major version can’t be bumped beyond 1
2. Module line must end with v{major} for major versions > 1

IgnoreMajorRules

Don’t worry about the major version of the module line.

BumpMajor

Bumping the major version of the module line is okay
