Variants

Defined

Profile code and metadata exist; not yet registered with brain.

Registered

Brain knows about it; backtest-eligible. Not yet in live update loop.

Active

Live update loop running; snapshots persist.

Inactive

Registered but no live updates. State retained; read-only.

Archived

Live updates stopped; snapshots and event log retained for audit.
