Whether and how a price series was adjusted for corporate actions.

Structure/extreme detectors that reference historical price levels (pivots, Elliott rule checks, …) assume those levels are the ones that were actually traded. Split/dividend adjustment shifts historical marks to different numbers than what traded at the time.
