Expand description

Errors that can occur during KAIO runtime operations.

Variants§

§

Cuda(DriverError)

A CUDA driver API call failed.

§

OutOfMemory

Device memory allocation failed.

Fields

§requested: usize

Number of bytes requested.

§

InvalidConfig(String)

Invalid kernel launch configuration.

§

DeviceNotFound(usize)

No GPU device found at the given ordinal.

§

PtxLoad(String)

Failed to load a PTX module into the driver.

§

Validation(ValidationError)

A PtxModule failed validation before being handed to the driver.

Raised by KaioDevice::load_module when the module’s target SM is too low for a feature it uses (e.g. mma.sync in a sm_70 module). Surfacing this before the driver compiles the PTX avoids cryptic downstream errors.

1.0.0 · Source§

fn description(&self) -> &str

👎Deprecated since 1.42.0:

use the Display impl or to_string()

1.0.0 · Source§

fn cause(&self) -> Option<&dyn Error>

👎Deprecated since 1.33.0:

replaced by Error::source, which can support downcasting

impl From<DriverError> for KaioError

Source§

fn from(source: DriverError) -> Self

Converts to this type from the input type.
Source§
