StoreLock

Struct StoreLock

Source
pub struct StoreLock { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Cross-process advisory lock held through an open file handle.

Lock files persist after release. Unlinking an advisory lock file can split contenders across the unlinked inode and a newly-created inode, allowing two processes to both believe they hold the same lock. Only [Store::sweep_stale_key_locks] unlinks one, and only while holding it; every acquisition then checks that the path still names the file it locked, and starts over when it does not.
