#[non_exhaustive]pub enum Confidence {
Exact,
LowerBound,
Estimated,
}Expand description
How much to trust an aggregate.
Exact set-reclaim is not obtainable on every platform: macOS exposes no
public API enumerating all owners of a partially shared extent, and the
Linux reverse-mapping ioctls generally need CAP_SYS_ADMIN. So a sum of
per-file unique bytes is a defensible lower bound, and says so.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Implementations§
Source§impl Confidence
impl Confidence
Sourcepub fn label(self) -> &'static str
pub fn label(self) -> &'static str
The canonical word for this level, for anything that has to name it.
Here rather than in each caller because this enum is #[non_exhaustive]:
a caller outside this crate cannot match it exhaustively, and the
wildcard arm it would be forced to write is precisely where a later
variant would silently render as something it is not.
