ParticipantIdentity

Struct ParticipantIdentity

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct ParticipantIdentity { pub id: Option<Id>, pub name: String, pub calendar_address: String, pub is_default: bool, pub extra: Map<String, Value>, }
Expand description

A JMAP ParticipantIdentity object (draft-ietf-jmap-calendars-33 §3).

Represents a URI (typically a mailto: address) that identifies the authenticated user for iTIP scheduling purposes within a calendar account. The set is specific to the authenticated user as well as the account: different users with access to one account may see different identities, and a different default (§3).

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§id: Option<Id>

Server-assigned immutable identifier.

Option<Id> with skip_serializing_if so /set create payloads constructed by a typed caller do NOT emit a client-supplied id on the wire. Per RFC 8620 §5.3, the id property MUST NOT be set in the create object — the server assigns it. Matches the in-crate sibling CalendarEvent.id (crate-jmap-calendars-types/src/event.rs:43-44).

§name: String

Display name to use when adding this identity as a participant (default "").

§calendar_address: String

The URI that represents this participant for iTIP scheduling (e.g. "mailto:user@example.com").

§is_default: bool

Server-set; true for at most one of the identities the user can see in the account (§3).

§extra: Map<String, Value>

Catch-all for vendor / site / private extension fields not covered by the typed fields above. Preserves unknown fields across deserialize/serialize round-trip per workspace extras-preservation policy (see workspace AGENTS.md).

Source§

const SERVER_SET: &'static [&'static str]

Wire names of the properties the spec marks “server-set”: “Only the server can set the value for this property. The client MUST NOT send this property when creating a new object of this type.” (RFC 8620 §1.1). A property the type’s /set method text never accepts from a client, on create or update, is server-set too. Read more
