How strongly a machine’s offline seal holds. internet: false is enforced for every machine, but a privileged container can lift it from inside its own network namespace, so such a machine must declare seal: best-effort to acknowledge the seal is advisory for it (it is refused otherwise). Defaults to guaranteed.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Guaranteed

The seal holds: nothing in the machine can lift it (the default).

BestEffort

The machine can lift the seal from inside (a privileged container): it is applied but not guaranteed.
