Struct Profile

Source
pub struct Profile {
    pub name: String,
    pub path: PathBuf,
    pub description: Option<String>,
    pub target: Option<Target>,
    pub spec: Value,
    pub defaults: Value,
    pub inputs: IndexMap<String, String>,
}
Expand description

A profile, read and checked against nothing yet (see Profile::check).

Fields§

§name: String

The profile’s name: its file name without .yml (isoloom run --profile <name>).

§path: PathBuf

The profile’s file.

§description: Option<String>

What the profile is for, as isoloom profiles lists it.

§target: Option<Target>

The target the profile runs on: the default when none is given, and the only one allowed.

§spec: Value

Merged into the spec before -s.

§defaults: Value

A layer of the defaults.

§inputs: IndexMap<String, String>

Launch-time inputs, by name.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Profile

Source

pub fn source(&self) -> String

Where it shows in isoloom defaults and in errors.

Source

pub fn layer(&self) -> Layer

Its layer of the defaults.

Source

pub fn check(&self, spec: &Value) -> Vec<ProfileProblem>

What’s wrong with the profile for this spec (the spec’s YAML as written, before any override): machines, networks and inputs it names that the spec doesn’t have.

Source

pub fn pin(&self, asked: Option<&str>) -> Result<Option<String>>

The target to use: the profile’s when none is asked for; an error when another is.

§Errors

Error::ProfileTarget when another target than the profile’s is asked for.
