Controller

Struct Controller

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct Controller { pub cpus: u32, pub memory_mb: u32, pub disk_gb: Option<u32>, }
Expand description

The controller VM, which runs the environment’s playbooks and Ansible checks: its size.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§cpus: u32

CPUs: Controller::CPUS unless the spec says.

§memory_mb: u32

Memory in MB: Controller::MEMORY_MB unless the spec says.

§disk_gb: Option<u32>

Disk in GB, when the spec sets one (else its image’s own).

Implementations§

Source§

impl Controller

Source

pub const CPUS: u32 = 1

Its CPUs when the spec leaves them out.

Source

pub const MEMORY_MB: u32 = 512

Its memory in MB when the spec leaves it out: Python, ansible-core and pywinrm fit.

Source

pub fn of(spec: &Spec) -> Controller

The controller of spec (controller.resources, else the defaults), whether or not the environment needs one.

Source

pub fn needed(spec: &Spec) -> bool

Whether spec needs a controller: it has provision: steps or Ansible checks.
