ClientTimestamp

Struct ClientTimestamp

Source
pub struct ClientTimestamp {
    pub wall: SystemTime,
    pub mono: Instant,
}
Expand description

Client-side timestamp captured in both wall-clock and monotonic time.

Wall-clock time is used for protocol timestamp comparison and one-way delay calculations. Monotonic time is used for elapsed client-side timing such as RTT, scheduling, and timeouts.

Fields§

§wall: SystemTime

System wall-clock time.

§mono: Instant

Monotonic timestamp sampled alongside wall.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ClientTimestamp

Source

pub fn now() -> Self

Capture the current wall-clock and monotonic timestamps.

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &ClientTimestamp) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
