Expand description

Parsed magnet link (BEP 9 + BEP 52).

Supports v1 (urn:btih:), v2 (urn:btmh:), and hybrid magnets.

Fields§

§info_hashes: InfoHashes

Unified info hashes (v1 and/or v2).

§display_name: Option<String>

Display name (optional).

§trackers: Vec<String>

Tracker URLs.

§peers: Vec<String>

Peer addresses (x.pe parameter).

§selected_files: Option<Vec<FileSelection>>

BEP 53 file selection (optional so= parameter).

Implementations§

Source§

impl Magnet

Source

pub fn info_hash(&self) -> Id20

Get the best v1 info hash for backward compatibility.

Returns the v1 hash directly, or truncates v2 if only v2 is available.

Source

pub fn is_v2(&self) -> bool

Whether this magnet contains a v2 hash.

Source

pub fn is_hybrid(&self) -> bool

Whether this magnet contains both v1 and v2 hashes.

Source

pub fn parse(uri: &str) -> Result<Self, Error>

Parse a magnet URI string.

§Errors

Returns an error if the URI is not a valid magnet link.

Source

pub fn to_uri(&self) -> String

Convert back to a magnet URI string.
