Run the worker loop until a shutdown signal (SIGTERM/SIGINT) is received.

On shutdown, the worker stops picking new runs and waits for all in-flight executions to complete before returning.

Errors

Returns WorkerError if the polling loop encounters an unrecoverable error. With the prometheus feature and a metrics_addr, returns WorkerError::Internal before polling if the exporter cannot be built (including when the address cannot be bound, for instance because it is already in use) or a metrics recorder is already installed in the process.
