A named span grouping a contiguous window of trace events.

Fields

span_id: u64

Monotonically increasing identifier assigned at span creation.

label: String

Human-readable label for this span.

start_event_idx: usize

Index into the events vec at the time the span was opened.

end_event_idx: Option<usize>

Index into the events vec at the time the span was closed. None while the span is still open.
