pub struct CheckpointerConfig {
pub max_checkpoints: usize,
pub compression_threshold: usize,
pub accumulation_mode: GcAccumulationMode,
pub clip_norm: Option<f64>,
}Expand description
Configuration for a GradientCheckpointer.
Fields§
§max_checkpoints: usizeMaximum number of checkpoints to retain. When a new checkpoint is created and this limit is already reached, the oldest checkpoint is evicted.
compression_threshold: usizeValue count threshold above which the compressed_size estimate uses a reduced coefficient. Currently used only for the size approximation.
accumulation_mode: GcAccumulationModeAccumulation strategy applied during flush.
clip_norm: Option<f64>If Some(max_norm), gradients whose global L2 norm exceeds max_norm
are rescaled so that the global norm equals max_norm.
