Aggregate statistics produced by a GossipProtocolEngine.

Fields§

§messages_received: u64

Total messages successfully received (not duplicates, not over TTL).

§messages_forwarded: u64

Total messages forwarded to downstream peers.

§messages_dropped_duplicate: u64

Messages dropped because they were already seen.

§messages_dropped_ttl: u64

Messages dropped because hop_count >= max_hops.

§active_peers: usize

Current number of active peers.

§avg_propagation_hops: f64

Exponential-moving-average hop-count of accepted messages.
