Variants

Fifo

Take the oldest idle connection (first-in, first-out by creation time).

Lifo

Take the most recently created idle connection.

LeastUsed

Take the connection with the lowest use_count.

HealthBest

Take the connection with the highest health_score.

RoundRobin

Cycle through idle connections in insertion order.
