Configuration for DHT shard balancing.

Fields§

§max_vectors_per_peer: usize

Maximum number of vectors a single peer should index before triggering a rebalance. Default: 10_000.

§rebalance_threshold: f32

When a peer’s load fraction exceeds this threshold the peer is marked overloaded and migration candidates are generated. Default: 0.8.

§target_redundancy: usize

Target number of peers that should own each vector (redundancy factor). Default: 3.
