A single network event, as published to the bus.

Fields

id: u64

Monotonically increasing identifier assigned at publish time.

topic: EventTopic

The topic this event belongs to.

payload: Vec<u8>

Opaque payload bytes supplied by the publisher.

source_peer: Option<String>

Optional peer-id string that identifies the originating peer.

timestamp: u64

Wall-clock timestamp (e.g. seconds or milliseconds since UNIX epoch) supplied by the caller; the bus does not call the OS clock itself.
