A rule that influences how the PeerMessageRouter dispatches messages.

Rules are evaluated in descending priority order. The first matching rule determines whether/how the message is forwarded.

Fields

rule_id: u64

Unique identifier for this rule.

match_type: MessageType

The MessageType that this rule matches.

For MessageType::Gossip, the topic field is ignored — any gossip message matches regardless of topic.

target_peer: Option<String>

When Some, the rule only applies when the destination peer equals this value. None means the rule applies to any peer.

priority: u32

Higher-priority rules are evaluated first.
