pub enum PlayerErrorKind {
Network,
Decode,
Unsupported,
Protected,
Refused,
Other,
}Expand description
The kind of a player’s failure, which an app words for its user and acts on: the web’s
MediaError and Windows’ MediaPlayerError share the first three, and Apple’s AVError and
Media3’s error codes fall into them.
Variants§
Network
Reaching the media failed: a connection, a timeout, an HTTP error, a file that is not there.
Decode
The media is damaged, or decoding it failed.
Unsupported
A format or codec the system cannot play.
Protected
The media is protected, and the system may not play it here.
Refused
The system or the host does not let the player reach the source: a sandbox’s rules, a file it may not read, a link it may not fetch.
Other
Anything else the system reports.
