DeclaredColumn

Struct DeclaredColumn

Source
pub struct DeclaredColumn {
    pub name: Vec<u8>,
    pub declared_type: Vec<u8>,
    pub affinity: Affinity,
    pub collation: Vec<u8>,
    pub hidden: bool,
}
Expand description

One column a module declares.

Fields§

§name: Vec<u8>

The column name.

§declared_type: Vec<u8>

The declared type, exactly as the module wrote it.

§affinity: Affinity

The affinity that type maps to.

§collation: Vec<u8>

The folded name of the column’s collation.

§hidden: bool

Whether the column is hidden from SELECT * and from an INSERT with no column list.

A hidden column is how a table-valued function takes its arguments: json_each('[1]') is SELECT * FROM json_each WHERE json = '[1]', and json is a hidden column. It is the whole mechanism, not a display preference.

Implementations§

Source§

impl DeclaredColumn

Source

pub fn visible(name: &str) -> DeclaredColumn

Returns an ordinary visible column with no declared type.

Source

pub fn hidden(name: &str) -> DeclaredColumn

Returns a hidden column, which is how an argument is declared.

Source

pub fn typed(self, declared: &str) -> DeclaredColumn

Returns the column with a declared type and the affinity it implies.
